Say hello to our holiday favourite. Summer Photography Course for Kids is an online resource to keep the little ones occupied over the summer holidays by creating 30 exciting projects with their camera.

We welcome smartphones and cameras of all types, ages and sizes and is a brilliant activity to document what you do over the summer holidays with the people that you love.

The course is aimed at 7+ year olds, can be led by the little ones or the chance to get all of the family involved. Even if you have little babies; you can photograph with them and will be a great annual tradition for each Summer!

There's nothing better than being in the great outdoors and now with a purpose for all of the family to document it!

The course contains 30 photography projects and it is entirely up to you if you want to do 1 per day, 10 per day or all across your travels! There are no hard and fast rules; just the one - that you enjoy getting creative!

Once you have completed the project, your little one will get a certificate to say they have had a wonderful snap-happy Summer!

What to expect on the course:

Learning:

The first section of the course is all about learning about the basics of photography and how to take a picture. From ideas such as getting closer to your subject, rule of thirds and lying down on our tummies to take pictures; this is a great start for children to learn the fundamentals of using their camera in a fun way.

Practical:

There are 30 photography projects that the children can do! From ideas photographing their favourite thing (can be a toy, person or place), different skies, colours or becoming an artist - there are lots of different practicals to please everyone!

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish. It is planned so that it is achievable to complete everything over the summer holiday​ period and print off the photographs ready to take back to school to show their teachers their summer fun!
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
What camera does my child need?
We welcome all cameras of all types from iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, iPads and everything in between. If you have a "proper" camera, then this can absolutely be used too.
What age range is this course for?
This course has been designed in mind for 7-year-olds and over. However, if you have a little one and fancy a challenge with your baby or toddler, then, of course,​ this can be led by yourself but might feature your child more often! It will be a lovely tradition for every summer to see them grow.
 

We only have 18 summer holidays with our children; make sure you document them before they are grown.
